forget packing, spackling or painting. on my mind is whether or not to get my nose pierced. i wear j.crew, pearls, and madras boat shoes. the riskiest i've been lately with piercings or tattoos is to finally get my second holes done. i'm a whimp. but even before i got my ears pierced again i've wanted another hole to shoot boogers out of (okay so that's not actually possible but still). a friend from school and my best friend from high school are the two inspirations. i think it looks great on them. as all opinion seekers inevitably find, my confidantes have given me a mixture of reactions - from adorable to trashy. as i explained it to my "trashy" friend:
"if i don't like it, i take it out. and if i really do want to do this it's kind of my only opportunity: i still have a year and a half left of school; once i get into work i probably wouldn't even be allowed to have one so until i retire that's out of the picture, and a 60-year-old with a nose ring is just wrong."
the plan is to get it done by friday. i've found the venue, the price, and a hand to squeeze the crap out of. still waiting for the guts.
