Here is an example of the repair work. Each warrior that is found is numbered and the spot where he was located is also numbered so that on reconstruction, he can be placed back where he was found.

Both in Pit 1 and here in the headquarters pit, you see warriors with their hands extended and horses a small distance away. They were chariot drivers, but since the chariots were made of wood, they didn't survive.
