Krabi - last days

THAILAND | Thursday, 15 September 2011 | Views [446]

Resort living is a great way to do very little.  Our last few days in Krabi have seen experiencing just that.  We've done a small amount of further exploration of the area with a longtail boat trip around the headland to Railay Beach.  This area of Krabi is very popular with backpackers who love to climb big rocks.  The sheer vertical cliffs that rise up from the beaches are the big attraction and are a spectacular sight.  Can't imagine quite why you'd want to climb them though!  Many areas of Thailand have received a huge amount of rain over the past few day, including Krabi.  Perfect timing really for us as we wind down our holiday.  So we've done some more shopping, had more massage, eaten some fabulous food, seen some amazing sunsets, and managed to get a bit wet along the way at times.

Great times with great friends!
