I've always wanted to see the south of France, so for 2 weeks, beginning November 29th, I will be in lovely Lyon. Granted most of my reasons for going to Lyon in particular lie with a certain someone, but still. I've always been mesmerized by the rich history, culture, architecture and food of Europe. Also, considering Interpol is headquartered in Lyon, I feel it all works out rather nicely for me. Unfortunately, I've not had the chance to do much traveling there, so I am going to relish every single minute of it - falling in love with the city and off course, with Florian :)
So 3 days left till I leave humid Malaysia for the winter cold of France. Can I just say how absolutely ridiculous it is to try and find winter fashion here? *sigh* I suppose that comes with shopping in a tropical country. But still. I'm positive there is a portion of the population that travels during winter season, so logic would dictate that they get their clothes from somewhere, right? Apparently not. Well, from what I've seen anyways. Looks like they all freeze their arses off lol. If only I'd brought my winter clothes from Brisbane. Then again, if only I had my sweaters and such from Canada. *sigh*
Right, so in keeping with my usual thing of keeping a scrapbook of my travels, I figured I'd get with the times and do it online. This way, family and friends (read: STALKERS :P) will be able to keep tabs (errr, I mean contact :P) with me. Plus, it just saves me the whole trouble of developing photos to stick into my scrapbook, etc. Save the trees & all that good stuff :) I don't know how often I'll be able to post - if you guys want regular updates, I suggest bugging Florian to lend me his computer, or to take me to an internet cafe :P
Anyways, 3 days more. OMG, I am excited. Vive la France! :P
