    On the road: the overcast sky on the day of arrival was deceptive. Everyday the temperatures ranged from 20 to 32 degrees Celsius. There was no rain for the duration of the visit. by: suku Views[112] My Classroom: this is one of the classrooms - pre-refurbishment by the AE team. Most of the classrooms did not have furniture - just a table for the teacher and the students learn, write and read from the floor. by: suku Views[149] Aspiration: A sign at the school grounds. Stating the aspirations of the community - Education is the key - escape route from poverty. by: suku Views[136] The Facilities: Pit Latrines. On the left are the pit latrines, which we also used as bathrooms. As they had been recently built we were the first to use them. On the right are the older latrines which were no longer in use.
