These places along the line of riverbank usually are under the water, both because of the seasonal tide as well as because of the hydro-power station built in 1960s for generating power for electric railway system. So, youngsters are seizing the moment when it's possible to climb down and enjoy a relaxing moment right at the waters.

Being on a remote, secluded part away from the civilization of the city encourages young people to explore their physicality and to enjoy different bodily sensations. There's no one to tell not to mess and keep clean.

After spending few days amidst trees, waters and sun soaked bodily sensations, young people are on their way back to the city. Though they will return to the wild banks of river Daugava again in a following week.
