Wonderlust

Just found a few interesting blogs and sites for Guatemala. One blog says that Antigua is for tourists and white folks looking to adopt Mayan babies. But here's the good stuff, it looks like just outside and up a mountain from Antigua is Earth Lodge Guatemala. www.earthlodgeguatemala.com Wow, an avocado farm and a place to stay that serves vegetarian meals and all for $15 a night for a private cabin? Sounds too good to be true! The views look incredible on the website. Also in Antigua is The Black Cat hostel which looks cool, but also looks like it's for the young backpacking party-seeking crowd. Why would I go to another country just to hang out with more white people?
