Today i went to a family gathering with the rojas. Probly one of the funniest experiences of my life. I was the only white person in the room, and i probly understood about 25% of what was said at the table. No one else spoke any english. As awkward as the situation should have been, it was really fun at the same time. I kinda just had to write about this, cus I havent had the chance to tell anyone about it in english. It was a totally surreal situation. Ive never been the ONLY white person in the room for a couple of hours, and couldnt really express myself fully.
ahh inexplicable situation. quite an experience. i feel like i would learn alot more spanish being in that situation more often. its almost disapointing how easy it is to find english speakers here in xela. but i know id say the opposite if it were opposite
