My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

Once trapped on the farm, the mothers and foals are corralled into pens and sorted. The foals are separated from their mothers to be checked, counted, branded, micro chipped and mostly sold. This event holds no financial reward for the farmers who practice it, what is maintained by these enthusiasts, is a small slice of prehistoric Britain.
