My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

High in the mountainous region of northern Thailand, tucked majestically among fertile red clay and copious foliage lies the Akha village, a hill tribe and ethnic minority. They cultivate coffee and stone fruits, sustaining themselves through an entrepreneurial venture run by an ex-monk turned university student, visionary and son of the 'Akha Ama' (Akha mother).
