About 30 seconds after walking past the Florence Duomo, the rain started. I ran back and was photographing the explosion of colours (umbrellas) reflected in the wet surface when this Bride turned up. It amazes me that while tourists flock to Italy's beautiful architecture, Italians go about their business as if these wonders are an everyday thing. To them, of course, they are.

Uffizi Artist: Outside the Uffizi Gallery artists set up their easels and sell their (or someones's) art work. It seems reamarkable that tourists would come out of the Uffizi which holds one of the best collections of art in the world and buy a painting from a street vendor. This one got tired of waiting for a sale and packed up for home

Vallone dei Mulini: Vally of the Mills: Sorrento Itally. This grain mill was in operation from 900 AD to 1866. Construction around the port closed off the valley and that led to increased humidity which is the cause of the lush vegetation around the mill.
