    Sorrento Cliff Lido: At the base of the cliffs in Sorrento you can find a small public beach and lido and a number of commercial ones where you can buy food and drinks, lay in the sun and swim in the warm waters. The public lido is often crowded with young British and German backpackers. The private ones are less crowded. Views[261] Vallone dei Mulini: Vally of the Mills: Sorrento Itally. This grain mill was in operation from 900 AD to 1866. Construction around the port closed off the valley and that led to increased humidity which is the cause of the lush vegetation around the mill.
