Pura Uluwatu be one of the interesting and unique temple because in addition to being a place of prayer or public worship, also known as monkey temple where there is a forest in the area east is therefore commonly found wild naughty monkey. monkeys that live among the trees and flamboyant flower that characterize the gate of Uluwatu temple.

pura building is a place for prayer for the Balinese Hindu religion. Temple building has special characteristics that would be comparable with other buildings such as, at the door we could see the beautiful carvings, standing at the front door a few statues that are considered to have magical powers, and there is a yellow and a white cloth covering the wall of the temple. White and yellow cloth is a symbol of holiness for the Balinese Hindu religion.

Uluwatu temple is located on a steep cliff 70 meters high as it has a very beautiful views of that can be seen from the west side of the temple. the view is the Pecatu beach. Pecatu beach has big waves, so it is suitable to be a place for tourists surfing sports.
