How my son sees the world

It's a horse, it's a plane, it's Mum & Dad!

It's a horse, it's a plane, it's Mum & Dad!

Riu has just turned 4 and this is his picture of a horse. When asked "What's that underneath the horse?" he said

"Dad, and Riu and Kai" in his broad young Australian accent.

And what's that to the right of Kai?

"Mum ... on her head."

Why Mum is always last and why she is standing on her head is a complete mystery! It's interesting to see how family hierarchy is important to a 4 year old and where he sees himself in that hierarchy.
