    Blocks of stone each weighing over a tonne and the size of a small car frequently drop from the cliff face by the forces of erosion. by: shnoz Views[172] The rhyolitic cliff face of Minyon Falls was created by lava flows from the nearby Mt Warning volcano, which is now a dormant husk. The water plunges 104 metres and falls so far that it disperses into the air before reaching the river below. by: shnoz Views[661] Rapidly descending into the Minyon Falls valley the dense forestry almost immediately changes into sparse, lush palms. by: shnoz Views[455] A strangler vine grew around a tree many decades ago, restricting it of nutrients and sunlight.
