With almost perfect circular synchronicity in their motions, the Hampi sweepers were mesmerizing to watch. Although a laborious task, it is a purposeful role in a village where job opportunities were considered limited and few. A reality worth pondering considering only centuries before Hampi was home to one of the most affluent trading communities in India.
