My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

As much as I seek adventure it just tends to happen. Right place, Right time.
I didn't intend to be a cage fighting journalist. One intrepid event on an Australian holiday visa later.. the world became a playground.
The greatest shots I have taken to date (professionally speaking) were set up by a photographer, who knew how to work a camera. Sports lens at the ready I was good to go. My passion for snapping, ever crossing boundaries. I still use that beat up 20D three years on.
Truth is, I dont know how to use it.
But what I discover, with whatever I shoot with.. its the story I'm telling. Be it the local fighters in Manchester or the daily snap of a brick I found interesting for the 'gramniverse'. There is always a story.
So accompanied with an ever developing interest in story telling, my day job as psychiatric nursing student and a calling to be a listener and to help.. My argument is this; I would love a new camera.
And if theirs anything I learned about the Olympics, where I worked for 3 months as a grunt; It is that people, regardless of background or belief.. have infinite possibility. That's the story I will tell. And the Sherworld is the place I have visited. Oh and Oman looks cool.
