Villagers in this unnamed village in the Dhimbam Hills mountain range of Tamil-Nadu congregate to warily welcome some visitors to their home. Hundreds of tiny tribal villages like this one lie deep in the mountains, most of them so remote that the residents rarely see outsiders, and many have never met a person of another ethnicity in their life.
