The cool thing about war ending is that people are now safe to start their own businesses and lead a peaceful life. Here is a bakery in Gulu that employs a few young guys. The smell of the bread baking was exceptional.

People displaced by war have had to live in these huts for over 20 years. Now the government is telling people to go back to their homeland but they don't even know where that is. There's no water, school, crops, or anything. They have to start from scratch.

Education is the key to breaking the poverty cycle even if it is in a mud hut with no electricity. Kids start school at the age of 3 for half a day. By the time they get to primary school they need to know English.
