Thousands of kids in East Africa have to grow up fast. This photo encaptulates the seriousness of life and death they face. They should be playing, not working.

Wearing a tee shirt that says 'Everyday Hero' this boy walks 10km's to collect water for his family. He never complained even having to walk up a steep hill back home.

Although their parents earn only $1 a day, they walk 7km's to school which is in a mud hut, come to school during the holidays - they do it all with a smile. Their smiles are infectious.
