My name is Shane and I am finally seeing South America. The original intention was to spend 3 months travelling with my partner Andres :-) but have since decided to stay on for a full 10months and experience my dream of living and breathing the Latin-American culture.
I am a recently graduated integrated resource manager from the University of Queensland and have an intermediate knowledge of Spanish. I have had a love of the Latin American culture and its people ever since I decided to study Spanish and love Spanish colonial history and the marriage of the traditional indigenous cultures with the influence of the European settlers.
I'm not especially disciplined when it comes to writing travel diaries but will try anyway.
