    It’s a sad sight to see an animal living in a place like this but hidden behind all the wild dogs, barb wire and worn out tin houses is a community thriving with happy people and animals that roam free and undisturbed. This photo was taken right around the corner from where I was staying. by: shanecroft Views[718] The Beauty of Sri Lanka is not always hidden away. This photo of a baby elephant and its parents was a sight to see. I wonder why it seems to be only poverty and war that people seem to think about when they think of Sri Lanka. You don’t have to look hard to find beauty in this country. Its without a doubt, one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. by: shanecroft Views[1221] This is one of my favorites and also one of the hardest to look at for me. While in the school at Henamulla, I looked at the front door and seen this very young boy standing there. It was a big reminder of where I was. by: shanecroft Views[199] The kids at this La Sallian school really brightened up my day in Henamulla. I spent some time with this one in particular and he had the biggest smile ever when I showed him the photo I took of him. It was something he might never have seen before. The kids at the school loved having their photos taken. Once you really look into the communities of places like Henamulla you can find that Beauty that in this case is simply a smile of this young boy. by: shanecroft Views[193] This was a photo I got while traveling in a bus around Colombo for the first time.
