After a long and stressful wait we are finally in the UK. Our adventure has started. With a week full of farewells, goodbyes at the airport on wednesday when Liana's Parents left for Broome, one going away party after another and then the rest of the airport goodbyes yesterday we finally made it through the doors and off to start our lives as temporary Pom's.
It was a long trip, but smooth flights and we arrived into Manchester this morning as 6.15, two very weary travellers with two very heavy backpacks! We will definitely need to practice packing light before we head off around Europe!
We spent the day in Manchester today, Sean being dragged around shops, and then Liana being dragged to a couple of english pubs! The current Tally is two pubs and Sean is undefeated at pool!
We will spend two nights here before heading off to stay with Paul and Julie in Scotter.
