Very windy again but thanksfully pushing me to Budapest all day. It s very strong wind and the kayak racers wont get on the river. Just as Im getting to Budapest I meet Dori, who is holding on to the pier as just another gust is threatening to push her into the water. Over the last couple of days the river has been splitting into twos or three and not all the signs were visible so Im a little lost. Dori informs me that I am already in Budapest. Funny - doesnt look any different to the green of two days ago. We paddle together for a couple of Ks and Dori gets me into her club. Some very nice people here and they are letting me stay in the gym. Again I have a key. As I get home after a quick meal in the center of Budapest I have to outwit a huge Alsatian that nobody had mentioned before. I lie down in front of the gate for half an hour, weighing up my options. Get a stick and a rock or buy a Kebab. I decide on all of the above but 'Puppy' is busy chasing a cat in the back of the club. I manage to get in and eat my Kebab too.
Will spent the Day in Budapest tomorrow - then on to Belgrade. Not many computers on the way - or keyboards that I can understand - really couldnt find the apostrophe on this Hungarian one - so keep checkin...
