Day 15 Linz ( 0 kms )

Got an excellent link on the subject matter today from Jeff:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Danube

Thanks for that - good job I never looked at that before leaving - would have put me right off - had no idea it´s that far.

On a break today - it´s just too hot and I need to be rested if I want to make it to Vienna within the next five days.

Bought a bottle of Coleman´s fuel for my Featherlight stove. It´s a great little camping stove but it just won´t accept unleaded petrol as advertised. Mind you - the Coleman fuel smells bad enough. Maybe I should keep it next to my Waterpros. Minus and minus is plus, right?

Thanks for the comments!

As I said, I´m resting and re-reading some of my previous posts and quietly, generally chuckling at those typos, grammatical errors and other mistakes. But there is no English Word, no spellcheck, no time to check, no money for the internet cafe and it´s a miracle that there is a computer at all.

Well, it´s Austria and I´m resting...

Hola Rafaelito.
A solution to your melting chocolate problem. I used to do this when i would go camping in summer. Put all your chocolate into a water tight bag. make sure there is no way any water can get into it. tie it up and put it in the river. you can have it dragging along your kayak during the day. being in the cool water will stop it from melting. You can do the same with canned drinks or your bottled water, especially over night. That way your drinks are nice and cool in the morning. Just make sure there is no way and river water will get into your drinking water or chocolate bag.

Enjoy
