Day 2 - Günzburg - Dillingen (25kms)

GERMANY | Tuesday, 10 June 2008 | Views [291]

It takes me 2.5 hours to pack all my gear in the morning. Getting it all into the Kayak is hard work.

Departing Günzburg 9:30am and arrive Dillingen Campsite at half four after 1.5 hour lunch at Lauingen.

My rhythm is getting better. Mind is still not on the job at hand. Four locks are four locks too many.

Things worth mentioning:

My neighbours in the next tent are American and on a bike trip to Zurich.

Duck tape does cover blisters among other things expertly (Thanks to Mark)

Hand cream is becoming increasingly important (Neutrogena - Norwegian Formula. Thank you Isabel)

Lauingen is very pretty.

I'm being taken to the home of the lady who runs the campsite to check my e-mail, apply for my EHIC card online, meet the family and Betty the talking dog. The dog is obviously a Democrat as it can say 'Obama' perfectly. I kidd you not - there is a video of this somewhere.
