A Muddy Way Of Living

Photography for me is the most feelingly way to transmit reality. Every time I see something that not even a thousand words could express, I go to photography. When I photograph I want to make people interpret in their own way what I show, my aim is to approach their hearts.
We are so used to hear or read about beautiful and awful things that happen or exist around the world, that many times we are unaffected from the subject until we see it. I guess that sometimes the only way that things become real is when you see them; an image impacts more than a word. You become aware of poverty when you see it, you become aware of culture when you see it, you become aware of love when you see it. It is our job to show people the reality because that’s our way of making a change.
There are many stories to tell around us; this opportunity of going outside of “my world” and photograph, learn and write about somebody else’s reality is a truly wonderful opportunity. Not only for me as a person and as a photographer, but also for the place I’m going, because I will express and tell those stories in my own words. I’m sure many others can, but we all have our own way of telling a story and nobody can tell it the way I will.
