At the end of the day they come home to count the shellfish to be sold on the morrow when the whole cycle begins anew amongst the mangroves. Despite all the hard work they return home happy; it’s being a long day for every woman in the village, but an interesting and humorous one as well. All day long, as can happen when friends and relatives spend time together, they have been gossiping about every man and story in Bolivar.
