A shop owner in the old city of Jerusalem sits outside his shop selling traditional items trying to entice passing tourists. The narrow streets of the Arab market come alive with scents of fresh cooked falafel and perfumes.

Among the various stalls in the Souk of the Old City in Jerusalem can you find items including religious depictions and menhora's. Meant mainly for tourists to take home an 'authentic' middle eastern souvenir the traditional and authentic mix with the gaudy is another experience to behold during the visit of the historic landmark.

- A shop owner hidden beneath swathes of hanging fabrics in bright colours in the Old City of Jerusalem. Beautiful fabrics in silk and cashmere hang outside to the attention of passing trade while 'traditional' costume hangs for the perfect tourist memento.
