This photo of a tree in the river bed draws me in. The tree has its arms up. Is it welcoming me or keeping me away and protecting the trees further down the creek bed. Its sturdiness and grandeur cannot be ignored. Through floods and the carving of its trunk by gushing water, and no doubt fires and anything else nature can throw at it, it still stands tall and proud. With his army of friends behind.
