Sunrise at Razor Back lookout. The name sounds harsh, but the beauty of the range which cannot be understated, softens it. The meandering road leading to the distant mountain range makes you feel connected to it. The vast landscape, however, makes you realise how isolated the area can be. It's an interesting juxtaposition of feelings when you're standing there, at dawn, admiring the beauty, but feeling very small and isolated. A kangaroo jumped across the road when we were there. Just one, oblivious or uncaring of our presence.
