Tues - up and out early, walking the less trafficed streets - we're actually able to cross the streets. At JB Sental, bus to Larkin Bus Terminal. Without a good samaritan, we wouldn't have made it.
At Larkin, we were on the bus within 10 mins for a 2.5 hour drive to Malacca Sental bus terminal. And yet one more bus to downtown Malacca. Oh what a beautiful historic hotel we're staying in. Leave our luggage and start exploring highlights of town. Highlight - a replicate of the Sultan's house from 1400's with a lot of history about that era. Old church and fort ruins and more history. After checking in, we walked along the river walk enjoying the murals on the buildings across the canal.
We're staying in a historical area from the Dutch then Chinese eras. This is an UNESCO site, now a tourist hub.
