hello friends just uploaded three more pix. ok back to Nan. bit of rush around preparing. meet with Keith again re mapping new plan. sunday morn had time to go by wat had wanted to visit. could have stayed another day in Nan.
meet Keith at the GH 8ish and off we go. he is a strong rider but enjoys conversing and used to riding with group so just stays with me. nice person interesting stories.
get off hiway on to smaller road traffic gets stretched out and more countrified riding. very nice. agriculture but alot fo just bush. bamboo in huge stands. in the hills up down and couple times quite steep. i do ok but go slow. try not push self, enjoying the quiet of road and scenes.
finally into Na Noi. not a really long miles but felt weary none the less. find motel after little looking and one full, could have had tent, but..... he take us cousins brand new motel just back, quite spendy so we share nice big room affordable. nice very rural setting.
no night market here, but able find a table of food on street. an older couple set up with about 8 pots and pans of food. all in little baggies of course. unless one is savvy enough to bring her cup. tasty food. Keith bag it and back to room. road eventually slow down peaceful. cools off in night quite alot. chilly in morn.
so decided stay a day, go out to a local attraction. in national park have a geologic formation. erosion of rocky small cliffs. 5 or 6 mile. pleasant ride. and is interesting several tourist van arrive and depart. we wander about abit. visit wat across road. worth while excursion. glad to have time, and know the distance! which is not often the case, for visiting places. are of course caves waterfalls littered about with no info. but sign once or twice.
so now small gaming room in aft and onward manana. every one, and we can see by topo map, we're gonna have Hills. and some quite long and steep. tomorrow we plan to get to Nan river and ferry trip across. will be small miles but difficult climbs next few days looks like. see how i do. feel bit worn hope continue get strong. be well, stay in touch hugs
