The pigeons of Paris are as common as the Eiffel Tower postcards, but to this young traveler they are a novelty. I watched this boy stand still in the flock of birds, almost blending into them, until he ran away, either unable to resist or tempted by the hand of his parent. He's a lesson in seeing the world through beginner's eyes.
