HAPPINESS IS A JOURNEY, NOT A DESTINATION

“For a long time it seemed to me that life was about to begin - real life but there was always some obstacle in the way, something to be gotten through first, some unfinished business, time still to be served, a debt to be paid. At last it dawned on me that these obstacles were my life. This perspective has helped me to see there is no way to happiness. Happiness is the way.” Souza
Previously I thought travel was a way to escape where I was, who I was. It was a way to get me somewhere else - anywhere but here. Now I have come to see that travel is just another way to seek out the truth for myself. There will always be obstacles and they don’t simply go away because I have gone away. You can’t run away from yourself. The point is to keep seeking, questioning, growing. Buon Viaggio!!!
