WHEN IN MILANO...
We went to Milano’s Galleria Vittorio Emmanuele. A beautiful glass covered mall. Inside there are mosaics of star signs. One of them is Taurus and is symbolised by the bull. On the bull’s testicles it is custom to rotate on your heel for good luck. Someone asks me – “why do they do this?” I reply, “because it is good luck”
Later on I think – “Yeah why do we do it?”
It’s quirky, everyone else does it, it looks like fun – maybe we are just dumb tourists. You wouldn’t see me rotating on a bull’s testicles in Melbourne but I am in Milano and suddenly when in Milano I do as any other tourist would do!
