Russ & Tash's travels

Siem Reap

There's not alot to say about Siem Reap apart from temples temples and more temples. In the heat we slogged through 2 full days (and mum and dad managed two and a half) and managed to see all the big hitters (Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom and Ta Prohm- the one from Tomb Raider), as well as some of the smaller but decidely less busy, more peaceful temples. Apparently we had managed to coincide our visit with Chinese New Year making it the busiest of all times to visit the temples. We managed a few drinks out in town for Chinese new years, with mum a little gigglier than usual, although denied any tipsy feeling the following day, and Russ and I finished up the evening in a very cheesy bar drinking beer. After a few days drinking cocktails and beer by the pool we headed off for our last stop in Cambodia with mom and dad heading off to Vietnam.
