Pub life in Ireland is similar to wherever you are in the world, the main reason you are there is for a pint, or whatever your tipple. Although, you will soon notice that traditional Irish pubs come with something a little more special than just a tasty drink.
Connie Doolan's is a small pub in the port town of Cobh on the southern shores of Ireland, the name itself couldn’t possibly be more Irish. After the first hour it was as if we were long time regulars, on the 2nd visit the night after, it was like a home away from home. This is what makes Irish pub life, the hospitality, the stories, the banter and the characters, or as the Irish say "The craic was mighty".
