Catching up!

Well this weekend I spent exploring Osaka a little and catching up with a friend I haven`t seen in 5 years! Really weird meeting someone you haven`t seen in ages half way across the world and neither of you in your `home` country! By the time I finally got into Osaka it was 10.30 pm. We went to this really fancy restaurant and they weren`t serving dinner anymore so snacks were the go! The view would have been spectacular from there however it was very overcast and rainy so we didn`t get to see much. After food we found a tiny little pub and ended up being kicked out cos the place wanted to close! My friend left pretty early for the airport on Sunday morning so I got to spend the rest of the time exploring Osaka by myself. As I was desperate for a cd player (no music for 3 weeks was killing me!) I spent the whole day shopping - not something I really want to repeat in a hurry to be honest! The Japanese sure know how to shop - their shopping centres are huge! I finally limped home at around 5 pm. Today I`ve done some sorting out of work stuff and went for a ride around Wakayama. We (a fellow native English teacher and friend) managed to get a little misplaced and we ended up in the industrial area of Wakayama - not exactly where we had originally decided to go!
