I love to visit and feel other lands, cultures, paces, colours, smells and smiles.
It won't be in my lifetime that humankind can travel across the universe, so at least I wish to know our beautiful planet and share my experiences with others.
To travel and to photograph: an inseparable duo, a perfect marriage.
When I was younger and couldn't afford to travel, I used to buy travel magazines and spend endless hours dreaming about different realities. Then, traveling became like a bug inside me; it's still a chronic "disease" that keeps me alive.
Now, my own photos are hanging in my office wall; in the bad days I think: it will soon be time for another ride; the world is waiting for me.
Whenever I run away, I dive in a new adventure, searching for that unique smile or for the tear that will never drop again, recording instants that will be forever memories frozen in time.
This Scholarship it's a lifetime chance to learn, to improve skills that cannot be learned in books, to be in the real thing! It would be a perfect gift: capture the perfect moment, the perfect story... to make other people dream too.
It's like a dream kept for a long time in an old chest… my eyes are sparkling.
