The Ark

We both love the outdoors, and we both love to climb. Bill is the more experienced climber, so we decided to focus on him. Robert is a seasoned photographer, so he shot most of the footage and edited it together. After filming in Bill's attic, we visited favorite locations for urban climbing in Pittsburgh.

Bill is a professional actor and Robert is a freelance writer and stage performer. We have collaborated in several short videos, focusing mostly on adventure sports. We are both very comfortable in front of cameras as well as live audiences, and we are both gregarious people who will engage pretty much anyone. Our video skills are self-taught, thanks to hours of tinkering with a T2i and Final Cut Pro.

We are both avid travelers, and we would like to make a career producing travel and adventure films. More personally, we have been close friends for more than a decade, and we have always wanted to work together on a significant project. We believe that capturing Brazil, with its frenetic culture and diverse population, is the perfect challenge. To do this scholarship justice may also help make our dream come true.
