Born and raised in the northern mitten, I grew up on sweet cherries and the crystal clear water of Lake Michigan. A chai tea addict and avid reader, I am particularly fond of off-the-beaten path accounts and travel memoirs and have a fascination with languages, though I am fluent in none.
