My Travels

Met up with Cat in LA and we stayed in Santa Monica, 1 block from the seafront. The area was nice but not much to do. We walked down the beach to Venice which took about an hour and then we walked along the canals. On the Friday night we went on a hostel activity to a Comedy club and paid $6 and got a free drink. We would of never found it alone as it was down an alley between 3rd and 4th street. But the comedy was good and well worth the $6. On Sunday the 10th Cat left and I went on a hike into the nearby mountains with the hostel. It said moderate but it wasn't very steep or long and so I found it quite easy but was a good Sunday morning stroll and got some good views and photos over the city. On the 11th got the bus to San Francisco, which didn't go quite as planned as wanted to catch the 10:30pm bus and get in at 9:30am so could get some sleep on the bus, but apparently the bus left from a different door and they couldn't find me even though within 10 feet of the door they told me. So ended up catching the 11:35 bus that got in at 7:00am so didn't get as much sleep, but oh well.
