The Curonian Spit, Lithuania. Amber gulf near settlement Juodkrante. In 1855, while canalizing the waterway near Juodkrante, the workers discovered here 

amber in the silt soil. Nowadays artists in each spring build in this gulf straw sculptures which are burned in autumn on equinox.
