About rikleaf
Rik Leaf
I'm a Multi Media Storyteller. I've produced many CDs, had music featured in documentaries and TV shows. I actually hosted a TV show for three year. I've worked on short films and published a book, Four Homeless Millionaires - How One Family Found Riches By Leaving Everything Behind. I do lots of artist residencies in schools across Canada.
I'm part of an indigenous artist collective called Tribe of One that features First Nations, Metis, French & English musicians, dancers, painters and slam poets. Performance highlights include the Northern Arts Festival in Inuvik 100 miles north of the Arctic Circle. A couple of UNESCO conferences as well as Gathering of Nations, the largest pow wow in the world held in New Mexico.
Our humanitarian/cultural work took us to war-torn Kosovo with the United Nations, War Child Canada and the Foreign Affairs Department of Canada.
A few years ago my wife and I sold our house in Canada and spent a year touring the world with our son, Zion (13) and daughter, Riel. (9) I produced an online video series called Where in the World Are Zion & Riel, documenting their year of adventure and discovery.
I published Four Homeless Millionaires - How One Family Found Riches By Leaving Everything Behind about our hilarious adventures. You can find all our videos on YouTube and our ongoing adventures on our Facebook Page
I travel a lot, and love it a lot...most of the time. :)
