LandMark is citizen science collaboration on the American Prairie Reserve in North Eastern Montana. Groups of Adventures and Scientists for Conservation volunteers hike 10 mile daily trensects collecting background wildlife data for reserve management.

Volunteers living in a tent on the remote Sun Prairie had to not only deal with Bison wondering through their campsites, rattle snakes, flooding rains, mosquitos and 100 degree temperatures, lightening storms were frequent visitors during the summer months. Waking here at 5 am with a powerful storm over head.
