    Lifting helicopter from the arranged landing zone next to the hospital. Many hospitals don't have designed landing places, they have designated spots that are described in the landing book. If the hospital doesn't have this space team cannot conduct transport operation they need to conduct rescue operation in which the pilot is picking the landing spot. Sometimes it's causing coffusion, because there are cases when people cannot be transported from hospital to hospital, just because there is not designated landing space and the operation was classify as transport not the rescue. Landing and take off on designated landing spots need to be assisted by police and fire fighters. by: rescue_12 Views[282] HEMS teams provide fast rescue support and transport patience from hospital to hospital. Unfortunately many times the system is abused and hospitals call for transport assistance to patience that don't require fast transport. They do this just to cut cost. Due to complicated system of subsidiary helicopter transport is cheaper for hospital that the ambulance one. by: rescue_12 Views[504] Flying rescue helicopter is very similar to flying military one. Many times you are landing in the spots that are new for you and are not market. You have to look for power line, trees and analyse shape of the ground where you land. At the moment most of rescue pilot are ex-military, there is no school for civil pilots preparing them for requirements of the job, but there are plans to prepare training for pilots interested to do this kind of job. by: rescue_12 Views[323] Warsaw, Poland: HEMS - Helicopter Emergency Medical Service team is preparing for take off. This time is not rescue mission, just transport. Next to the pilot is sitting paramedic, who is also filling the role of navigator. He is the last to go in to the machine and the first to leave to guide the safe landing in not marking land spots. by: rescue_12 Views[696]
