As we drove the boat in the estuary, these darters were ready to take flight after sunbathing for a long time. They were surprised by our presence, most probably!

This was a house popped up from my dream, out of nowhere. The scenery was beautiful. The wind, the sea and the sky were so calm for a perfect boating trip to the peel inlet of Mandurah with mates. The town towards the left of the picture is a phenomenal one as its multi-million houses and the local economy were fueled by the recent mining boom of Western Australia. Towards the left, it is the marine sanctuary for birds and marine species.

A lone seagull was circling the sky searching for food elsewhere. The clear blue sky of Mandurah is a perfect place for avian species to fly about and for the Australians to take for granted.
