    The American flag is the best form of memorial Americans have. It is flown in every state in the country, at nearly every home in the country, and is known by everyone for what it has gone through: wars both foreign and domestic, conflicts and bloodshed. It stands still today as a testament to a people and their ideals of freedom and justice for all. by: rememberance Views[295] Visiting a memorial can be a spiritual experience. It may bring back pain, or it may help to relieve it. In this photo, it seemed as if the skies had opened for a brief moment, capturing a heavenly view of the skies on such a heart-breaking memorial. by: rememberance Views[256] It can be painful to visit the Vietnam Memorial, probably because the pains of that conflict still haven't quite left the people of the world.
