AAE BOUBON HOUSE HOSTEL, New Orleans

PHILIPPINES | Wednesday, 31 July 2013 | Views [254]

First off, I love how this hostel smell. Nothing of that old and damp smell in the lobby, rooms and toilet. There are air fresheners  everywhere. Love it!

Secondly, Staff was very helpful and accommodating. Ty was nice, Ryan was nicer, Shane was the best! But it's Ryan who smiles a lot :)

Third, there's lots of free food in the fridge! Arrived late one night, and hungry. Found Ramen noodles in the kitchen and eggs in the fridge. I had instant dinner! Kitchen's equipped with every possible utensil and condiments. Freshly made pancakes every morning. Lots of cereal choices. Orange juice by the gallon, milk... Free!

There's a beer fridge at the patio. You can stock on booze for the nightly socials with other hostellers.

It's a short walk to Walmart- if you need to get supplies or if you're craving for something from the grocery. I also went for a walk, one time, from the French Quarter.

It's in a quiet street. and very Safe.

The best!
